    Introduce the bar code system for shipment control. In that same year the Sistema de Atención Estafeta (SAE) was born for the confirmation of deliveries.

    The Ceylan Operative Center and corporate offices are inaugurated in Mexico City.

    Estafeta USA is created.

    It was the year of the Company Automation and the formation of the telecommunications network.

    We open our website with the first electronic confirmations of the country.

    It was born Nace Estafeta Carga Aérea (ECA) con rutas aéreas de itinerario regular de carga nacional e internacional, en este mismo año obtuvimos la certificación ISO 9002 y el lanzamiento del servicio 2 días. (ECA) with regular routes of national and international freight routes. In the same year, we obtained the ISO 9002 certification and the launch of the 2 days service.

    The third aircraft is integrated into the air fleet and the routing system is renewed. We created the loyalty program 'Estafétalo con puntos' and obtained the National Prize for Transport Safety, by the ANTP.

    We carry out our first international operation from Merida to Miami, Florida and begins the air parcel service with delivery the following day.

    The fleet is renewed with Sprinter vehicles and Buzón-e® is launched, an Internet messaging service.

    Portable optical readers with online transmission of deliveries and electronic signature are incorporated, and in this same year the Operational Centers of Veracruz and Hidalgo were inaugurated. The construction of the customs facilities in San Luis Potosí is carried out. ERP and CRM enable you to automate business processes and strengthen customer relationships.

    Merkalink® is the first Mexican company to issue Digital Tax Bills and electronic invoices, through Buzón-e® Compliance with 95% of the delivery commitments. Inauguration of the International Logistics Center at San Luis Potosí Airport.

    Annual investment of 265 million pesos, 100 thousand daily shipments and 3,500 workers. Construction of the Logistics Center of San Pablo Xalpa in Mexico City. Modifications and extensions in the Exchange Center in La Tinaja, Veracruz.

    Annual investment of 390 million pesos. Increase of 4% in sales and 125 thousand shipments per day. Consolidated cargo launch with initial coverage of 46 destinations. Two Bombardier CRJ100 / 200 aircraft with a capacity of five tons and a half are incorporated. The total air cargo volume for the year is 22,516 tons. The "Hay Group" consultancy places Estafeta among the 50 best companies in the country.

    Inauguration of the Logistics Center, the largest in Latin America with an investment of 666 million pesos and with a capacity of 12 thousand shipments per hour, inaugurated by President Felipe Calderón.

    We obtained the first place in Domestic air cargo with a growth of 16.7%

     
  • 2012

    An investment of 427 million pesos was made for the expansion of the San Luis Potosí Exchange Center as well as 975 own and concessioned locations, which generated 4,500 direct jobs and more than 12 thousand indirect jobs where we obtained an annual growth of 12.2%.

    We were recognized as a Socially Responsible Company and new products emerged: Next Day, Terrestrial and Global Express 24hrs.

    The inauguration of the new Corporate offices of Estafeta is carried out. In this same year, the first stone is placed in the Monterrey Logistics Center, in addition to the launching of the "El Amigo Secreto" Campaign.
