Considerations
- The Fuel Charge is a percentage of the price of the contracted service and, if applicable, of the overweight it may generate.
- The percentage is determined according to the published price of domestic and international fuels.
- For Domestic Air Services, the price of turbosine expressed in pesos per liter and published by Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) at
www.pemex.com/ri/Publicaciones/Paginas/IndicadoresPetroleros.aspx in the link “Precio al público de productos petrolíferos” in the information obtained under the column: 'Turbosine'.
- For National Land Services the price of diesel expressed in pesos per liter and published by the Energy Regulatory Commission is taken from
www.gob.mx/cre/articulos/precios-vigentes-de-gasolinas-y-diesel and taking the information downloaded from “National Average Daily Prices and Monthly Average Prices by Entity” from the tab called: 'Table 1.4', in the line labeled National.
- For the Global Express Service, the price of Kerosene-Type Jet Fuel (U.S. Gulf Coast Region) expressed in U.S. dollars per gallon and published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration at www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/pet_pri_spt_s1_m.htm is taken.
- For USA Economy Service, the price of Ultra-Low-Sulfur No. 2 Diesel Fuel (U.S. Gulf Coast Region) expressed in U.S. dollars per gallon and published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration at www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/pet_pri_spt_s1_m.htm is used.
- In all cases, the price published one week prior to the effective date of the percentages is used.
